A Neat Trick

Technology has always been a bit foreign to me. So at the risk of sounding like someone who has some really great ideas for the internets, I want to pass along one small podcast tidbit.

I’m forever recommending podcasts to my friends and family. The problem is that I can’t always remember the exact name of the podcast (was that Marketplace? Marketplace Money?) Even if I found it on iTunes, there isn’t a URL that you can see to copy and paste—I always had to head to “Search iTunes Store” to get where I wanted to go.

Anyway. I just recently learned how to get the URL for a specific podcast while in iTunes: for Mac users, go to the Control+click on the image of the podcast, then click “copy iTunes store URL” For PC users, I guess the equivalent is right-clicking on that image.

Now you can send the link to your favorite podcast all your friends! I like keeping a list handy so I don’t have to go through the whole search function to download an old episode, for example.
